Magellan is a navigation system relatively unknown in Europe. External POIs require a special application. On the other hand the POI format is very specific. Download free POIs to any GPS navigation system or PDA

Downloading POI data to your GPS navigation system or PDA couldn't be simpler. You simply choose a country and list of services then download the .zip file that corresponds to the navigation software you use to your computer. Once you have connected your device, unpack the data into the relevant POI folder on your device you are ready to go.
